Samantha Whelan Counselling and Psychotherapy Service is a compassionate and professional mental health practice offering diverse therapeutic options to support personal growth and emotional well-being. Our services encompass counselling and psychotherapy, providing individualised sessions to cater to each client's unique needs.

Established in 2018 and with over 11 years of experience within the industry, our founder, Samantha Whelan, has held a diploma since 2014. Samantha also has over ten years experience working as a key and support worker within the area of drug misuse and addiction. Samantha is also certified in Addiction Studies which she now uses to support families whom are struggling with a loved one in addiction. Samantha has also worked and trained with Pieta House where she counselled adults and adolescents with a issues such as suicide ideation, self harm and people bereaved by suicide. Samantha is an accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).

We proudly serve the community from our practice in Ballymoney, Gorey, providing a safe and nurturing environment for self-exploration and healing. Our services are offered by appointment only, allowing us to give each client the personalised attention they deserve.
